General Jib Crane Design Criteria
The jib cranes shown in this catalog have been designed for general purpose indoor use in an industrial application using a hand chain or electric hoist where the live load plus the weight of the hoist trolley does not exceed the full load rated capacity plus 15 percent.
Structural components are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the requirements of AISE and AWS 1.1 specifications.
Bearings are large capacity, pressure lubricated in precision machined housings designed for 10,000 hours average life.
Where applicable electrical components supplied by Mazzella Lifting Technologies are designed and wired in compliance with NEC requirements.
Exterior steel surfaces are power tool cleaned and sealed with one (1) coat rust inhibitive primer and two (2) coats of high impact resistant industrial enamel finish.
Jib Crane Model Descriptions
Manual Rotation
Motorized Rotation
Side Wall Traveling
Model WC: 200° rotation wall mounted compression braced jib crane. This
model is the least expensive where maximum underclearance is required. Heavyduty GR50 steel construction with boom and vertical members reinforced with web gusset plates to provide greater strength and maximum resistance to torsional bending. Die formed fittings with pressed pressure lubricated bronze bushings and Timken® thrust bearings for maximum rotation ease. This style crane is suitable for mounting on a wall, column or any flat vertical surface structurally sound for design PULL and THRUST loading.

& SC
Beacon Line Crane Components
Model WCMB: This jib incorporates a WC model jib crane mounted on a self-supporting structural pipe base plate mounted mast.
Model WCMC: This jib incorporates a WC model jib crane mounted on a self-supporting structural pipe concrete insert mounted mast.
Model WT: 200° rotation wall mounted tension braced jib
crane. This model is the least expensive for applications where overall height is not re-
stricted. Heavy duty GR50 steel construction with boom a lower steel clevis which
clamps both sides of the boom providing true double shear and maximum resis-
tance to bending. Single and double tie rod design with National Coarse threads at each end for final leveling of boom at installation.
Die formed fittings with pressed pressure lubricated bronze bushings and Timken® thrust bearings for maximum rotation ease.
Model SB
