Mazzella’s offers an excellent inspection and repair program for Mentor Die Hooks.
As a minimum ANSI requires the hooks shall have a periodic written inspection once a year. Due to
severity of service conditions ANSI also requires a periodic written inspection on a semi-annual or
quarterly basis (for detailed information please reference ANSI/ASME B30.10). Mazzella’s can colorcode
the hooks to your specifications for easy identification of the last inspection.
In addition to a visual inspection and proof test—Mazzella’s offers mag particle testing—per your request.
All repairs shall be performed by the manufacturer or manufacturer’s authorized repair center
only. Inspections must be performed by a qualified person(s) designated by the employer. If you
need help with your OSHA, ANSI/ASME required inspections, please call us.
